We have depended on Cook for 3 generations. When my grandpa died, Christmas Eve was the only time our family could get together and Ron Sr. make it happen! When my toddler died in the early am, Cook worked with the State Police to locate our best friend who we promised we would not have the funeral without him. The service took place that afternoon at 2pm. When my dad died last December, Ron Cook II, arranged for a two-hour private family visitation and he distributed small flashlights to each of our 90 + family members. When the first single light was shown, it pierced the darkness. From this one light representing my dad’s life, another light was lit, and another and another. Dad and mom lived their lives to share the Gospel and the love of Jesus. Now, it is up to us to keep the light glowing. It is a profound message all four generations of our family will never forget. Just a note to thank you for the funeral service of Ken. My daughters were so pleased with the patience and guidance so needed by your staff. The hardest night of viewing (first) Nancy took us under her wings, and made sure everything was perfect. The room was beautiful, flowers, pictures, filled with compassion, respect & dignity. The service and luncheon were wonderful. I want to thank ALL for your care and dedication to help us through a difficult time. Many thanks. Read more

There was never a question of what funeral home we would work with. It was only Cook! When the men came to the home to pick up my mom we were really struggling. They gave us as much time as we needed. They gathered us in a circle holding hands and lead us in a beautiful prayer! Special memory! Read more

The service that I received from the Cook family and staff was outstanding. Two of the most memorable things that stand out in my mind would be the care that the staff had when bringing my mom into their care from the place of her passing. John came from Cook to the nursing home and handled himself professionally and compassionately. He gave us the opportunity to place a quilt around mom and say goodbye. It felt like we were able to put her to rest and hand her over to the Lord. The second thing that was so memorable was after the funeral. As we left the service, Justin's genuine kindness and smile comforted us and made us feel like we had just celebrated the life of my mom. It helped lift our spirits and reminded us that mom is in a better place. What a difference that made as we gathered at the graveside service. Read more
