Mary was like a second mother to me as Michelle and I have been best of friends since Kindergarten at Pinewood Elementary, Throughout our years of growing up, she had to be pretty tough at times!! I laugh about those times now, because our children are doing the same things we did as children.
Regardless of how much trouble we had gotten into, mistakes we had made or disappointing moments in our lives, Mary always loved us unconditionally!!!
I'll never forget when Shell and I both were pregnant at the same time!!!! She couldn't have been more excited!! My daughter Madison was blessed by Mary as well as Mary was her babysitter for several years.
It was always so nice to just stop by and visit with Mary as a friend, not only a mother. She was there for me whenever I needed some positive feedback or just a hug to make me feel better and I was there for her just as she was for me. We had a close grown-up friendship that cannot be replaced.
We will miss you Mary!!! With more love than you knew ( but know now)!!
Bless you for being the mother, grandmother and friend you were and will always be remembered as.
I wish you could tell us what it was like to finally see heaven and meet Jesus face to face. I am sure it is more beautiful and unexplainable than we can even imagine
Live your life in peace Mary, no more pain, surrounded by Angels just like you are. Your time on earth is finished!!!
All my love,
Mame

It's been many years since I have seen Chuck - the times we spent together on the football field at South High - but I will always remember the good friendship we had back then. The years pass so fast but it seems yesterday that we shared the good times at South. My condolences to the family. I will not forget Chuck.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jean last summer, after 25+ years of knowing her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Kathy Bradford. So many lovely stories of Jean, and then to finally meet her - what a sweet spirit!! She's was a gracious lady with a generous spirit of God's love and of family. Prayers for all her children and extended family. May we all leave such a precious legacy!

Al lived across the street from me for 8 years. I moved in after my wife died suddenly. Al and Jo looked out for me with kindness and grace. Al was one of those guys that made you feel like all was well.....a caring, father figure. I would talk through projects with him (I was doing a major renovation on the house) and he'd patiently listen and then offer some simple affirmation with his ever present smile and southern Indiana "drawl". A wonderful gentlemen.

We live in a culture, increasingly, where ‘good enough’ is the norm for service. From the beginning to the end of this journey, for our family, Cook went above and beyond all our needs and did it in a kind, humble, and lovely way. They were instrumental in the beginning of a healing process and we will never be able to communicate in words how very grateful we are.

We have done business with the Cook Family for years.
As far as we are concerned no one does a better job! During our father’s funeral once again you did above and beyond what we expected. We pray blessings on your business as you continue to serve and minister to those in our community during their time of loss.

Rusty & Pam Richter

We are always interested in hearing from the families we serve.
Please take a moment to let us know how well we served you in your time of need. We very much appreciate your feedback.

Note: Please do not use this facility to post condolences / guest book entries.  Those can be entered via the obituary page.
